Because this is a martingale dog collar, it can be very effective in helping prevent your dog from pulling or backing out of their collar when on walks. This dog collar is constructed from a rubber material that has a nylon inner core that gives it its strength. The chain and hardware on the collar are made from nickel-plated steel for added durability.
